Hankel’s Educational Spirit
Hankel International Academy middle school curriculum builds on the elementary program’s three pillars: multilingualism, research, and creative activities. It follows three guiding principles: step back with appropriate expectations, appreciate differences to foster collaboration, and maintain childlike curiosity to explore puzzles. From the start, our philosophy has been future-oriented. We ask: 20 years from now, will the foundations we lay for our children today still matter? This question serves as a sieve, continually refining what we teach. While we have tentative answers now, we will revisit them as times change. This ongoing inquiry generates new ideas, perspectives, and approaches, blending timeless solutions with evolving ones to create an education truly oriented toward the future.
Multilingual
Each language is more than just words—it’s a way of thinking. Every time we learn a new language, we gain a fresh perspective and a new way of reasoning, opening a window to the culture that the language itself reflects.
Research
In our Research program, we inspire students to develop a passion for science. By nurturing curiosity and investigative skills, we help them unlock the potential to use scientific knowledge to solve future challenges and contribute to a better world.
Creative Activities
Our Creative Activities program sparks learning through fun and imagination. By encouraging playful interactions and nurturing each child’s natural curiosity, we help ignite their intrinsic motivation, making exploration and discovery a joyful part of everyday learning.
