What can we learn from the individuals and communities that call these unlikely regions home? Could you survive? We’re going on a quest to see if we have what it takes to survive and thrive in the harshest environments both in and out of this world.

Come on an adventure to some of the most inhospitable environments on Earth! In the Shane Survival Squad Winter Course, students will use concepts from history, science, technology and engineering to solve real-world problems. Students will learn how to survive and thrive across different extreme terrains. In the final two lessons of the course, they will apply these concepts to living and prospering on Mars.
